The
Emirate of Ajman lies on the Western
Coast of the UAE, only 8 Kms North
of Sharjah. Ajman is Strategically
located in the center of The UAE and
a short distance from Sharjah and
Dubai. The Emirates of Dubai, Sharjah
and Ajman are closely linked in view
of the rapid development in each of
them with the business connections
bringing them together.
The coastline of Ajman extends 36
kms. Along the Arabian Gulf between
Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain. Like most
coastal towns over looking the Arabian
Gulf. Ajman has a creek and the city
was established on the land protruding
between the Gulf and the creek.
The
Emirate of Ajman is constituted
of three geographical regions, which
are different in terms of topographical
features as well as the distance
separating them from the coasts
of the Gulf. They include Ajman
City, Masfout region and Manama
region. The climate in Ajman is
generally moderate with the relative
difference among the three regions
due to the topographical nature
of each region and its distance
from the Gulf.
In
view of its strategic position at
the crossroads of the other Emirates,
its achievements in the various
economic sectors and its developed
infrastructure, Ajman has attracted
numerous investors and businessmen.
Little wonder that Ajman ranked
third among the Emirates in terms
of the number of industrial units
it is hosting.
